okay. ytd was break camp.
overall, i think oac was quite fun. serious. its like everybody is so high. we cheered everyday and i feel that 3P has really bonded. even thou' we quarelled a few times due to difference in opinions laa. but overall, we still bonded! (: even instructor yiying also say we rock! haaha. :D since ive got nth much to do, i shall blog bout all the acts in oac 2006. and some unforgettable incidents. hehhs.

day 1
after reporting at mph for a video on the s. island and briefing by chief and teachers, we had lunch in sch before travelling to lac (labrador adventure campsite). yepp. there were TEN GROUND RULES which we had to remember during the camp and follow them. yep. then when we reached there, it was flag raising. act 1 which was low e, started at 2 and ended at 5. :) it wasnt very interesting but some swinging stuff and balancing on this small see-saw. yupp. and crawling on a pole. smth like tt cos i cant remember the names of the stations. haa. x) then flag lowering. so fast. aft that dinner then shower. cant believe it. because its the first day. most of us ate and worked very slow. and in the end most of us didnt get to shower. that includes me. ): but i managed to shower first for the rest of the days! haha. then its astronomy, where 3p and 3i went to the science center.. after a talk of about 45mins or so about the diff kinds os telescopes, we proceeded to the open field to view the different stars and planets. it was so so fun. :) and during the talk rite, instructor yiying and yingying fell asleep can!! omg with chief there somemore. everyone was like shit later debrief confirm kena scolded. lols. so funny la. x me anger jiani and yeewen went to view the moon first. anger was like so funny when she kept saying that she cudnt see anything. cos the reflection of the moon was like on her nose! ahha so funny. a white patch on anger's nose. imagine. hehh. i think the people there magnified the moon too much. all i could see were craters. lol. i cudnt even see the round outline. haha. then went to see saturn. its like very small. but extremely clear. many of us thought it looked quite fake. hah. we were also shown the orion, seven sisters, leo, gemini and some other stars. cant really remember. when we went back to the campsite, the instructors taught us how to do the jamaican farewell. it was quite fun. yes. and i thought is sounded much like singapore town. heh. :)) then aft that was debrief and wash up. then lights out. for the first night 3P got scolded by some leaders cos many of my classmates cudnt unpack their sleeping bag in time. hah. then most of us cudnt sleep cos the bed was quite uncomfortable. and creaky. yarhs.

day2
we woke up at 5 only to get back to sleep cos the instructors said it was too early. lol. had pt. which was okay la. and then breakfast. black pepper bee hoon. nice. x) then went for the cruise. i almost got seasick la. cos the boat was like so bumpy. but still. managed to pull thru. :) explored kusu island. i didnt bother to copy down the notes cos i intended to borrow the log book from hui min later. hah. then went back to campsite. had lunch. and pet rocket. our rocket flew quite far for boh tries! yaaay. 32m and 28m. i think. :) great achievement i guess. :p then it was flag lowering. aft that was field cooking. our class fried chicken and veggies. and my grp, p3, cooked steamboat. which consists of marcaroni, fishball, cabbage, carrots and other stuff. it was like r-o-j-a-k la. :) then we finished evrything as we were not allowed to waste food. then it was shower followed by knots and lashings. i didnt really like k&l cos it was quite boring and the knots and lashings were hard to do. so i just slacked ard. and when we had to build a shelter i just helped to tie the poncho to the poles. haha. slacker. : then aft that was debrief, followed by wash up and lights out. btw. we had water parade almost everyday. it was fun as evrybody was like 'yam seh'. (cheers) yes.

day3
had tower and high e. tower was fun. i didnt get to do zipline la. because of time constraint. but i tried the other two. and it was fun. nvm. ive tried zipline in pri sch before. so i shant brood over it. but high e was scary. althou i only tried crossed wire, it was enuf to freak me out! xp my legs were like trembling so hard can. argh! so scary. then when i kept holding on to my belay rope the leader kept saying that she will let more slack rope. i was like so freaked out can. even thou i completed the whole thing. but it was super scary! flag lowering was cancelled cos of the rain. had shower and dinner, followed by reflections, where all of us had to share our most memorable experience during the 3 days and suggest an improvement to the camp. my idea was to lengthen the mealtime. cos it was like too short. actually wanted to say bathe time but alot ppl had already said it. yes. then after that we cheered and sang campfire songs. played chek chek koleh, raka tenggeh and dum dum dilly. it was fun. ohyar. and we doinked alot. it was actually the thousand legged worm and instructor yiying timed us. haha. we did it for like 10 mins plus. haha. overly enthu. ;p hop ard, doink doink. then it was debrief. before that instructors wanping, yiying and karen made us promise them 3 things. no1, no dragging of feet. no.2, i forgot what it was. no.3, all of us had to raise our hands when chief, assnt chiefs or the understudies asked for volunteers during debrief. instructor yiying kept on emphasisng on no.3, saying that we cannot disappoint her. hahas. we didnt disappoint her in the end as everybody raised up their hands. and 99% of the time 3P had volunteers to answer questions. so yaay! :DD so proud of our class man. :)) hui min and i decided to stay for night cap. to experience what it was like. the biscuits were nice, i guess. :)

day4
had flag raising an pt. then breakfast. then it was act 10, amazing race! we went to sentosa for that act. it was like so fun man. haas. our grp, p3 was the fourth to complete the race. but we managed to finish all the qns, including the bonus ones. and we had to wait for the last group to come. surprisingly, it was chief's group! lol. i remembered one of the ground rules had smth related to punctuality. haha. :))okay then went back to lac. had lunch, then expressions. our group had much fun cutting stuff out of magazines and pasting them onto the 3 mahjong papers given to us. then when everything was done and there was still plenty of them, chief and assnt chief played some game with us. i forgot what the name was. but we were supposed to group into 3s and act as trees or rabbits. then when chief shouted earthquake, everyone had to change positions. if it was fire, the trees had to move and hunter, the rabbits move. it was so fun la. and no one was tired. then chief was like saying when she said SARS, we had to run to the sides of the wall, squat down and cover our nose and mouth. the scene was like so amusing can! x) then chief asked us all to lie down in sit-up position. then straighten our legs and hands, and closed our eyes. many of us started laughing as we thought we had to do sit-up, which was like so tiring. instead we were asked to sleep in the hall! when we woke up our class had to do kitchen duty. i felt light headed la. after waking up then most of our house tee were quite dirty. lol. chief was still sleeping when we woke up.. hahas. so funny. then we had dinner, which i had no appetite for, and then night hike and kent ridge park. ms wendy taught us the different species of plants, which was interesting, like the acacia, simpoh air, cotton plant, fish tail palm etc. yepp. then aft tt went back to lac for shower. heard that instrutor yiying sprained her ankle. omg. then she said most prob she cudnt follow us to labrador challenge on day 5. all of us were like so sad la. cos 3P's instructors all rock man!

day5
after flag raising, pt and breakfast, it was labrador challenge. overall quite fun and we kept doing passion claps and cheers. it was so fun. haha. :) on the way back was so funny cos when we reached lac, we did passion clap for mr tan and instructors.. then we realised we forgot to do for chief so we did again. then this time we forgot mr tan. then we re-doed the whole thing. so malu-ed la. x after lunch was campfire prep! it went quite well. and i can tell that the instructors were quite impressed with all our claps, cheers and diff ver. of flea fly. so fun sia. all of us were in a high high mood. :) this was my fav meal cheer:

at night it was campfire. everyone was at their highest and we cheered for all classes. i think our opening cheer was nice! :) after the campfire instructor yiying kept saying that out item and our clsss simply rocks. ohmygod. we were like so touched la. overall it was very fun. the smoke from the fire didnt really affected us much.

day6.
ard 5am in the morning, our instructors suddenly came into our dorm and shouted that there was a fire. everyone was so freaked out and we just rushed out of the dorms. even thou we knew that it was a fire drill. when we assembled at the courtyard, chief was apparently unhappy with us for taking 6 min 50 s to assemble. everyone was still in a sleepy mood lor. and we kena scolded for not showing respect blah blah blah. sigh. then our class went back to sleep. and all of us didnt get to brush out teeth! hahas. for big sweep, our class was being assigned to clean the carpark, which had no litter at all. so we 'made use' of the time to cheer and played games like concentration.. haha. slackers rite, all of us. then after taking our bags, we had flag lowering.. then went back to cedar and did a survey at comp lab 3. yepps. that kinda wrapped up the whole oac. i was like so happy to get back my wallet! haha. after surrendering it on friday.
